  • Frames are made from non-magnetic anodized 304(A2) stainless steel treated with Teflon to avoid scratches
  • Double-sided anti-smudge nano-coating is hydrophobic stopping moisture and mold.
  • Antistatic coating keeps dust and fibers away from the filter.
  • Covered by the world’s first warranty and repair service for filters. 

    Installation Instructions

    Due to varying QC standards across camera brands, even models of the same brand may have manufacturing tolerances. If the internal filter frame doesn’t fit properly, please contact STC support or headquarters. Do not force installation.

    STC’s Clip-in filters are innovative and rely on the camera’s internal structure for stability. Minor marks from installation may occur but do not affect camera functionality or warranty. STC will not cover these marks or offer compensation. Please consider this before purchasing if reselling your camera is a concern.

     Notes
    • STC’s IR filter series is intended for use with modified cameras. 
    • As each camera has margin tolerance, for DSLR Nikon APS-C system you may need to adjust the filter according to your specific camera model. See instructional video. 
    • As each manufacturer’s lens design is different, blurring around the edges may occur with some fisheye or super wide-angle lenses. This is normal.
    • After you mount the clip filter, autofocus for you camera will automatically adjust to the change in optical axis.
